The State University of New York Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering Children’s Museum of Science and Technology (CNSE CMOST) held a unique child-focused event to ring in the New Year Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the 10th annual Noon Year’s Eve celebration. The event featured exciting ways for children of all ages to count down to the New Year at a kid-friendly time of day

Noon Year's Eve took place at Rensselaer Technology Park, 250 Jordan Rd. in Troy. CNSE CMOST offered age-appropriate science-themed activities for children, their parents and their friends who could watch the Noon Year’s Eve animal show in the Operation Working in the Living Domain exhibit, create cool Noon Year’s Eve noisemakers and party hats, have their faces painted, take part in a CNSE CMOST  parade, participate in a countdown to noon and ring in the Noon Year with a bubble-blowing bonanza. The event and activities were included as part of museum admission.
